I am using Outlook Client 2010. This is connecting to Exchange Server 2003. The main issue is lsass.exe starts using high CPU. When I ctrl + Right click on the icon on system tray and select 'Connection Status', it shows the 'Microsoft Exchange Connection Status' dialog box. The entries for 'Directory' and 'Mail' Type have 'Established' in the Status column. But the 'Public Folder' type entry has 'Connecting' in the Status column. I believe this 'Connecting' entry is causing high CPU for lsass.exe. I am just a outlook user and I don't use PUBLIC FOLDERS. Can I some how tell the Outlook 2010 client not to connect? Hello SKSaha, In Exchange 2003, a lot of Outlook features are based on public folder, such as Offline Address Book, Free/busy information.
